Maybe that explains why recently there were a flurry of Line Magnetic Amps FS ?

Tone Imports is the North America distributor. They would know.

The only reason I had interest in this at all was I was looking at their Tube Integrateds a couple months ago.
Then there were 5 FS on Audio Mart.

LM's Chinese language website went down a couple months ago. I didn't think much of it at the time because there had been a quite convincing copy of it purporting to sell LM products (in China!). I had assumed the website was taken down in order to revamp it or protect against piracy.

Edit: Thanks, Bemopti, for posting a link!  :thumb: The URL is different from before.

Who knows? I notice Tone Imports doesn't offer a phone number on their website.

They must be selling like hotcakes. There's only a single 219ia listed today at USAUDIOMART and a single 216ia listed at Audiogon. LM is (was) run by two brothers I believe. I recently read that the brother who ran the WE Replica portion of LM had passed away.  Perhaps there's a bit of reorginizing going on, but there doesn't seem to be any evidence they're "disappearing". That said and already noted, the best source of info would be an e-mail to Jonathan at Tone Imports.

I sure hope LM Audio is not gone. I really like the equipment they offer. I've got the 216ia and it's remarkable. I had a SET amp as a loaner once, just magic!
Sorry to hear one of the brothers has passed.

Hope LM will carry on with exciting tube equipment as before.
