I noticed the Billie XP on the DIYHIFI site, but not the DIYCables site.

Do you offer the Billie in the XP (Experimenter's Platform)?
I would be interested in a Billie if it used 2a3/45 tubes (no need for all that unnecessary power from the 300b  :) )

Are there any reviews of the Billie XP?

Thanks!

Brad:  Right now I'm only offering what is on our site specifically.  For a time I was trying to provide people with everything that was on Brian's site but I don't always know what Brian does/does not have in stock in terms of accessories or tubes and such.

My policy in terms of the kits is that I need to have one of the units in stock that I have built and is working so that I can use the working amp when troubleshooting with customers.  I don't have the XP version of the Billies and I get very little request for the XP version.  Not enough that I'm willing to buy a second set of amps to have laying around the shop.

If you’re interested in the XP I'd talk directly with Brian.  I'm sure he could hook you up and he would better be able to support you during the building process.

Thanks for the update Kevin.
Were you at CES?

I figured I was one of the oddballs interested in the Billie XP.   Sounds like I should hold off unless I decide to go with a 300b amp.

Yes.... spent three days wandering around all the rooms trying to sell capacitors. ;)

Now I'm trying to get caught back up with all the orders.

In terms of what to use having a little extra power is not a bad thing.
