Hi there Im A south American Girl trying to get into to vacum tubes amps,I would like to discuss a rather bad experience I hada and ask for some guidance

Welcome!  Over 50 years have dabbled in tubes and never have had good luck with them.

ok here the thing I will upload a few pics of a an amp Iw as about to get but the I found diferences on the one I was going to get from the one that was oroginally posted in the add
I noticed a lump on a transformer.

Any link for the advert amp?
The transformer are EI open air or encapsulated?

Interesting anomaly. It seems that someone has put this material in the transformer to resonance purposes or it could only the manufacturer name plate, as a used amp the transformer looks in good condition by what I can see from here.

What is this material?
