Did the MKII upgrade offered by VS come with any kind of warranty? I saw an old For Sale thread with MKII upgrade that had advertised it as having 10 year warranty from Von Schweikert?

I do not know.  But if you are considering the purchase of a used one, then you should also check to see if the warranty is transferable.  Many aren't.
