Wish I could bid on this super clean Marantz 8B. Very nice tube amp IMHO.

I love looking inside those great old amps. All too often, you see a bird's nest of wires and components. But that Marantz is as clean as is humanly possible without PCBs. Wish I had some serious dough lying around for this one. The only blemish I see is a small corner of the label torn off.

That looks sweet! The only problem is, in order to sound it's best, it really needs a parts refresh (which will kill it's value from a collector's standpoint).

It's a beauty for sure.
Ericus, should you get a chance check out the internal wiring of the old Leak amps from England. They were wired similarly to the Marantz and, IMO, just as beautiful underneath as they were on top.

I am thinking about contacting the seller to see if he is interested in trading his Marantz tube amp for my Bose Wave radio... hehe.
