What is everybody out there using? I was thinking batteries perhaps, and then I saw this on ebay

I wonder how much better can the bugle 2 perform with a nicer power juicer
Thanks in advance guys

I am working on an updated supply. It will help more with PICCOLO2 performance than BUGLE2, but any sort of improvement like this is good. Hopefully they will be for sale this summer.
For now, you'll have to give this a try. The output needs to be floating though - with neither output tied to EARTH. The other option is to use a dual supply (+12V, -12V, GND) and remove U1.

I am using a PCB with two TPS7A4700 4.17uV ultralow noise regulators. It brings me in audio Nirvana with the Piccolo 2. Simply removed the inductors, supply splitter and 470 ohm resistors. Connected a wire to the ground clamp for the zero Volt reference.

I am working on an updated supply.
Is this the sort of thing you're designing?

Similar, but smaller. And important the negative side of output is not tied to ground. The CORNET3 supply will be bigger.

Can we not use the bugle PS? Mine worked flawlessly since day one and is out of use since i built the bugle2.
If it can be used, how to connect it?
Thanks for helping.

You could use the original Bugle Power Supply, but it would require modifications to the Bugle2 circuit (removing J1 and U1).
