I'd like to learn more about these speakers.  I've searched the internet and have found very little. Bob has made some good comments about it but perhaps people who have heard them can add more :)

I am intrigued by their design as well.  I wonder why Hyperion decided to do a downward firing woofer instead of a standard forward firing woofer.

Yes, I've read the website already.  I just wanted to get more feedback from people who have actually heard the 733s.

Can you kindly explain why the design team decided to go with a downward firing woofer rather than the normal front firing woofer?
