Sun June, a new band from Austin, with a female singer and unlike most music these days the recording quality and engineering are great. They are apparently called regret pop? Whatever that is it sounds great to me on a Friday night.

Sharing a response to a PM query: No I don’t believe that is the same Larry some of us know from the Sheffield “Confederation”, or further back when he played with Glen Campbell. (though at least one or two web sites picture this record along with his) This disc was recorded in London, released by Capitol in ’71. It is a lively and fine example of well written and performed/recorded Brit folk rock (think Alan Price “O Lucky Man”) with nary a whiff of a banjo.
Cheers, John

Thanks for the additional info John. I do enjoy Alan Price, and while back in the day 3 hrs was a long movie, O Lucky Man is still a favorite. Will check it out.  :thumb:

"Gene Harris At Maybeck" Concord CD.

Great solo Jazz piano.  I love live recordings, well at least when they are of excellent music, well recorded.

Worst part of the CD: the cover design.
