Next week we will visit the High End Show in Munich.
A lot of us calls this event, The Best Event in Europe.
Very nice place to meet all the news and a lot of enthousiast Audiophiles.
This year the event is planned a week in advance of the Ascension so, beware of the right date.

I just moved to Switzerland (but not terribly far from München, Konstanz, etc.) - when is the next such show (or similar high-end shows in central Europe)?

I don't know ANY audio heads like I did in El-Cjn, making me lonely & bored here.
