  • Dutch and Dutch 8C's…yes they are that good!
I have listened to it and compared it to the redbook cd and to my ears there is a nice improvement.   :thumb:

Improved detail and highs, with a clearer and stronger mid-range and bass.

I don't have any measurements, so I can't tell you anything there.

Only bummer is that the extra songs found on the Deluxe cd version aren't available on the 24-96 download.

George, I agree.  It's a very nice hirez release, and as good as the redbook is, it is a clear step up.

TONEPUB wasn't a big fan of the vinyl on this release, so this may be the way to go.

I am still waiting for my vinyl to arrive and look forward to comparing it to the CD included with vinyl purchases myself.

Good to know. I'll have to check this out.

Sorry this is off topic but jury is still out for me on the whole Hi-rez thing. Some recordings are an improvement while others not-so-much. Where it has made in an impact for me is that PM's upsampling feature is very good and improves all recordings, I have found. At this, I still only have a dozen or so hi-res albums.

Thanks for starting this thread and for all the posts on this title.  :thumb:

I was holding off, but now I plan to dowload it. My understanding is that Bob Ludwig mastered it (?) if so, that's a great sign.
