Soundscape 12's up for sale on AudioGon
« on: 14 Jul 2012, 10:47 pm »
If anyone is interested, my three Soundscape 12's custom built for my home theater are up for sale on Audiogon.

http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=97333.0

These are truly stunning speakers, both sonically and visually.  I am only selling because I am moving into a space that won't accommodate in room speakers.

A link to the for sale page:

Let me be the first to say,  WOW!!

When I read your listing though, I thought you were exaggerating when you said they are priced way below market.  Then I realized you are including the center.  You might want to clarify that.  Also the title says Selah Audio - I assume that is an error.

Good luck, those are beautiful speakers.  If I lived near you I would be very tempted.

I should have had a cup of coffee before I hit the laptop!  Thanks for the heads up.  I corrected the listing on Audiogon and the posting up above.

Very impressive

I would hate to move to a new home and have to leave these behind.

Best wishes in selling them, someone will be getting a sweet deal

The "HOLY CRAP!" center channel. The "Mother Of All" center channel. The "I Ate Your Sony" center channel. The "Jesus Christ of the Grill Cloth" center channel. NOBODY that has these moves to a house that can't keep these.  Somethins naught rite cowboy! :whip:

+1 - if I wasn't moving in a couple of years, it would be really tempting.

Great price on these.  I'd love to have them, but after doing the math of selling my HT2-TLs, center channel, and sub, i'm still short a few (actually a lot of) dollars

I plan on looking for a home within the next couple years.  Being young and single, one of my very top priorities is a dedicated audio room so hopefully i won't have to sell my Salks :)

Good luck with the sale

Very tempting...will need to really think about this.

Those would replace the three Song Towers I currently have for my L/C/R channels and I am sure it would make my excellent HT even better!

Given that my L/C/R channels are hidden behind the screen, it would be somewhat of a shame to not see the beautiful finishes.

I'll volunteer to hold them in Northern VA.  Probably cut the drive down by 7 or 8 hours.  I'm happy to be of service 8)

If a drive is required, it isn't going to happen.

George,

Please stop and think about all those wonderful MLB Stadiums you and your son could visit on the trip to pick up these beautiful speakers....a true father and son adventure. 8)

Great idea, but doesn't fit into summer plans.

Just realized that he doesn't have the crates and prefers not to ship.  Looks like this won't happen.

Moving company.  It's really not that big of a deal for them and if you are somewhat patient with time, it will cost you much less which still isn't that much.

George if you decide to pursue these I can help coordinate on this end.  I have packaging suppliers I can put you in touch with and am only 30 minutes from Frisco.  Drop me an email if needed.
