They look like killer studio monitors, so maybe an SM or SM-Pro designation?

Salk Grand Monitors.  Call them "GMs" big and powerful...and made in Detroit too (well, Metro Detroit but close enough).   :thumb:

We used some spare scraps of Brazilian rosewood left over from another project (thanks funkmonkey).

:o I recognized that veneer right away! 
...glad my scraps went to good use!


How about "XOTK"
(basically same thing Dennis said but abstracted a little)



PS-  if nobody seems to want these beauties I would be glad to "babysit" them for you...  you know, so they don't crowd up your giant shop space or anything ;)

Salk Efficiens? 'Tis Latin for efficient.
