Title: Von Schweikert LCR-35 Grill Cloth Replacement

I have a Von Schweikert LCR-35 center speaker with a grey grill cloth. I would like to change it to a black grill cloth but I’m not sure how to remove the existing grey grill cloth. Do I have to pull off the end wood caps? If so how would I do that without damaging them?
