I don't think I will see a better movie this summer. The John Wick movies are brilliant, and that's before the in-depth analysis of narrative structure, mythic/archetype story-telling, and immaculate direction and production design. You can either watch them as mindless action and be fulfilled or you can be enthralled by the Wachowski-esque world building, including truly international casting. Oh, and Halle Berry as an assassin with armored attack dogs? SOLD.

The best part of the movie were the attack dogs.  Clearly they were not animated, they were the real deal.  The scene where one of the dogs scales a wall was great.  Although, Halle Berry looked awesome.
