The skulls of my enemies duct taped to the walls in a Brownian Noise insprired fractal pattern developed on a Cray XK-6 that may or may not be in use by unnamed agencies of an unnamed government.

Media Storage

DIY CD/DVD racks carefully designed to couple the impedance of the atmosphere to the magneto-resistance discharge of the pine tree roots slowly burrowing under my domicile.

Other Comments

Do you have tinnitus? I pester my poor doctor every time I see him (all too often, these days) about any progress in the War of Tinnitus. The last time I bought it up, he wrote me a prescription that said "Play in Traffic 4x daily". Also, bourbon and some nice 14 year old Balvenie helps the sound a lot. Whisky is also useful. I am somewhat of a heretic, being a Southerner and preferring Canadian made whisky, but there you have it.

Power Cond

Conditional power is right. When it rains or the wind blows or the sun shines, poof goes the electricity and then I have to hand crank the Victrola. Yes, I have a working Victrola.

Tuning and Tweaks

Vibrapods/Vibracones under electronics; Maggie 1.6s are mounted on Mye Stands, SMGcs are mounted on DIY bases. I keep my remote controls in a cool basket. I have a framed picture of the Three Stooges on the big power amp (Larry, Moe & Curly, of course).

Other Components

I have a couch, I call it the Couch of Listening. Sometimes I lay down on the couch. Then I call it the Couch of Sleeping. It is a very versatile couch. No, it is not for sale. Go buy your own couch. I purchased a 19" flat panel monitor and placed it on the Oppo to serve as a display device for menus and settings. This is arguably the best $100 "mod" spent on the system, as I no longer need to fire up the Brobdingnagian sized Sony SRX TV just to look at a DVD menu.
