Cornet RIAA EQ question.
« on: 9 Jan 2004, 02:48 am »
Hello,
I have measured my Cornet today using Jim's inverse iRIAA Filter and it measures about 0.5dB down at 10 kHz and 100 Hz relative to 1k level.
I think, it s pretty good for non-matched components. Still, I'd like to tweak it a bit. Do you guys know what resistors/capacitors I should tweak to bring 10k and 100 Hz to 1 kHz level?
Or, may be it is a particular tubes' function since tube's Rp is a big part of EQ.
Let me know.

Thanks
Sergey

Try swapping tubes.  A slightly higher gm will bring the 10kHz response back up.

Either than or you have to tweak C8 down.

jh :)
