A problem with the Tri Trix PE kit is the use of the Dayton silk dome tweeter. They have had QC problems with that tweeter for quite some time, redesigning it 3 or 4 times. Several of my students over the years have used them in projects, and so far, with unimpressive results. They may have improved over the past year or so, but I am not likely to use them again.
