Hi everyone

Getting back into vinyl. Problem is I run a lxmini setup which I want to keep as digital in. It can accept analogue in but the SQ drops. The device is the minidsp pwrice-125.

It seems the puffin audio would fit the bill. That's actually the top of my budget. Would be grateful for any other alternatives I could look into.

Many thanks

Jay

I have a Thorens MM-08 that does digital.

IIRC, there's a blog post on using any A/D from the phono and then using Audacity to apply the RIAA curve.

I think you're looking for realtime playback, not archiving and playing later?

Thanks Artur for the tip - that's a unit I was unaware of until now.

Yes - looking for real time playback.

I have no experience with this phono stage, but it may suit your needs.  Do you already have a phonostage?  If so the art dio can do ADC as well as DAC, which i have experience with and can recommend.
