A couple notes:
1/ i have seen and heard a couple variable transimpedance amplifiers. They have the knob that turns the Rout from near zero to near infinity.
Very good amplifiers. And it was incrediably eye opening to hear where a speaker sounded best.
2/ Stacked Dayton-Wrights. NAIM 250 did a fantastic job. It is not the power it is the ability to drive a capacitive load.
