I picked up one of these phono's a few weeks back and had the chance to get my Teres up and running again last weekend. I had started to think that I might have made a bad decision in selling my Monolithic Combo for this phono from what I read on AA about it. However, I think what is said is more faint praise than dissing.
I've yet to fully break it in but I don't get the feeling that I did a backstep, if anything I stepped sideways and probably made a baby step up. I think this piece will give me a chance to practice some mods and part swaps, which what I intended to do when I purchased it.
Has anyone else heard these phono's? I think they offer quite an exceptional value.
