System Overview

Doesn't have the most "real life" presentation that I've ever had from a system in my home, but it is the most engaging and intoxicating system that I've ever had. Its also the longest running system I've had without having the burning urge to change anything.

Room Description

13.5 x 17.5 x 8. The measurements are deceiving as the size also includes built-in bookshelves and cabinets behind the speakers and closets behind the listener. The room appears smaller than the dimensions imply. Its not a dedicated listening room, but a shared family room. Wall to wall carpet, lots of furniture, large bay window. Its not lively sounding, but has first reflection problems that are difficult to treat because of the WAF.

Acoustic Treatment

I have Eightnerve Adapt Triangles in all four corners. Eightnerve Response pillows in various places around the room. These treatments help more than I expected. They tamed some brightness and made the sound more focused and clear. There is no way I could ever live without them now.
