Dead Space 2 Hardcore mode, WTF!

I don't know if any of you have played this game yet; its called Dead Space 2. I have it for the PS3, and throughly enjoyed it until today.

I have recently got addicted to getting the platinum trophies for games that I buy for the PS3, and after having started playing this game decided to tackle its hardcore mode....

Basically, the enemies are super difficult, there are very little ammo drops, and you only have THREE FREGGIN SAVES to get through the game.

Every time you die, it takes you back to your last save.

Hours of my life wasted with zero progress to show for it!! RIDICULOUS!

Whoever thought this was a fun idea for a game mode is a sadist.

Died stupidly as well....

So angry... :banghead:

Anyone tried this game, and more specifically this mode that could offer some pointers?

I haven't played this game, but i have it somewhere in my house...i think its too scary to play.   :?

I got it and play it on Casual because I suck at shooter but I do know it took my kids to get me started through the first part and we are talking on the easiest mode. Once they got me to the first save point the game did in fact become casual but I feel your pain.....and I know how crazy the game can be, we are doing BRINK right now as my youngest is here for a kick dads ass in videogames combo sleepover and Elios pizza fest.....LOL..BRINK is very cool

I am about to toss this game out the window!  :cuss: :cuss: :cuss:

I finished the game on hardcore, the last boss was defeated!!

During the credits I died! Why did they make it so you can die during the F'ING CREDITS? Now, since I am on hardcore mode, and have to revert to my last save for a checkpoint, I just lost two hours of gameplay, and have to do it all over again!!!

Complete horse sh*t.   :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I'm playing super casual mode and I'm like 1/4 way through....LOL....way to go KINGDEEZIE-- :cuss: :stupid: :argue: :bowdown:
