Any Windows8 interface available to BDP1/2?
« on: 19 Feb 2013, 07:25 pm »
Does anybody know an interface to the BDP1/2 that runs on Windows8 tablets (and/or Windows8 desktop) ?
Now I use MPDROID on a Samsung Android-tablet and Gnome Music Player on a windows7 desktop and Linux netbook.
I would like to try a Windows8 tablet, but I would like it to be able to connect to the BDP1. (not using the webbased MAX or MINI page)

Any experiences around?

Yes, I noticed that CD players have the same user interface as 30 years ago, with no need for "patches" and "upgrades".

Search for "windows" on the MPD Client's list.    I believe most folks use Gnome, as you might have tried, but perhaps you can try Auremo as well.

Sadly Windows 8 platform is rather new, so there's not a lot of love yet.
