New to hifi audio and am asking lots of newbie questions.  Apologies.

So a questions if I may

1. What's the difference between a line conditioner and line purifier?    This is form Chinese literature.

2. I was looking at either the Bada 5500 or Xinda XF1000S line conditioner.  Are these any good?

3. But then I saw the APC AV 1.5 that's about the same price in the USA.  Is the same function as the two units above or does it regenerate the sine wave and regenerate at 120 volts?   A consumer review suggested that it does.
