I have been tasked with purchasing a projector for work. We will be using it fairly often while on conference call. My boss wants a few things in particular. The most important one is noise from the fan, closely followed by small and light.
Can anyone help me to understand what 37dB(A) means in a quiet room while doing work and on speakerphone for hours? It can get very annoying and impair the call. We experience it regularly at the moment.
BTW, I don't have the time or access to go hear projectors really. Also, it would be hard to judge in a shop how they will sound in out boardroom.
