Can anyone out there suggest a Toroidal Transformer (or Multiple) that could replace the Hammond 370BX?

Why would you want to replace a good EI core with a toroid?

Height of the supply. I want to put the supply in the case, not mount it on top.

check out www.vt4c.com and look at their R-cores, a much better solution I feel.  Toroids aren't a great solution because they have a widebandwidth meaning they pass the crap along with the 60hz wave. Also w/o a interwinding shield they have high capactive coupling.  R-core is better than a toroid in these regards and are lower profile which is why they are used in a lot of the better CD players, like my Sony XA777es.

Then you could always put the Hammond in an outboard enclosure like I did and use 8 wire pro cables along with a 8 pole speakon connector set and place the transformer outside of the case which will also lower noise.
