One album that I have not seen mentioned is "Father and Sons" with Muddy Waters, Mike Bloomfield, Paul Butterfield, Donald Dunn, Sam Lay, and Buddy Miles. I have owned the album since the early 1970's and I think it is available on CD.

It certainly is.....

Muddy Waters + Otis Spann + James Cotton, + above noted:    Fathers & Sons 1969, was fortunate enough to be there.

"True Love is the eighth studio album, and ninth album overall, by Pat Benatar. It is a jump blues record released in 1991. It peaked at #37 on the U.S. Billboard 200. Pat Benatar recorded the album with Neil Giraldo, Myron Grombacher and the Roomful of Blues horn section and drummer." (from Wikipedia)

And, I'm going to see her and Giraldo tonite!

Savoy Brown ~ Strange Dreams 2003

Quote
Savoy Brown, originally known as the Savoy Brown Blues Band, are a British blues rock band, formed in 1965, in Battersea, South West London. Part of the late 1960s blues rock movement, Savoy Brown never achieved as much success in their homeland as they did in the United States, where they promoted their albums with non-stop touring.

I bought this CD for $1.99 over the weekend and to be honest I wasn't expecting much.
I must admit to being pleasantly surprised and I've played it now for the 3rd time.

Just watched Jonny Lang's 1999 Montreux concert on DVD.

What happened to Jonny?  Is he still around today?

Yes, he's still playing. Saw him earlier this year when he opened up for Buddy Guy.

His band was TERRIBLE! Likely, one of the worst performances I've ever seen on stage, and that includes the stupid bands I was in. "Wander This World" was an OK release, but other than that ... meh. His performance was lame - couldn't sing, couldn't play, can't write music or lyrics. And his band - embarrassinlgy amateurish and untalented. Blech!  :shake:
