Perhaps I should explain my answer to those who haven't followed this closely.
Pinedale, Wyoming (previously mentioned), in addition to being home to the loosest county court in the nation, at least as far as homicide convictions go, is also known for the welcoming slogan "All The Civilization You Need." It is a far piece from most other places in the state.
My home in Sheridan, on the other hand, is a mere half hour from Buffalo and Dayton.
BTW, we also have an Atlantic City in Wyoming. No casinos in our Atlantic City, though.

Amen to that !!!   I am stuck here in NJ..but at least I am up in the N.W. corner so more cows less people.
Unfortunately all the ridiculous taxes and laws to protect us from ourselves still apply.
Next stop for me when the kids move out..The Oregon High Desert.   Wyoming is nice , but I need the ocean within a few hours drive and warmer winters !!  Greg

Angry? What a waste of energy. He likes Wyoming. That's fine. I prefer living in the Northeast, the cultural center of the universe. I can be in the hills, populated by woodchucks in twos hours. I can be in NY city in four; Boston in one. The Atlantic is 40min away. I can hunt moose and deer, upland game birds and there's no overly restrictive gun laws, at least in Maine, NH and VT. And, we have rednecks that rival West's best. What more could a man ask for.

Your granddaddy apparently didn't know about the chicken who played tic-tac-doe (for a quarter) in NYC and WON. I refer to the Calvin Trillin essay about this chicken. Calvin used to escort visitors to the scene and watch them lose, whereupon they would say "The chicken went first and whoever goes first in tic-tac-doe wins." And Calvin would reply, "Yes, but it's a chicken."
I defy you to find a tic-tac-doe playing cow.
Also, I live in the foothills of the Big Horn Mountain range. I am not a flatlander.

I remember that Tic Tac Toe chicken booth in Chinatown in my younger days.  And although it has been gone for a while, it seems someone else is using the chicken to beat chicken brained humans....

I kind of get the feeling these games are rigged! But I'm glad to get the correct spelling of tic-tac-toe. We always said "doe" in childhood NE Ohio.
