Pics, prices, sizes?  If this info is somewhere please direct me.

Sure, pictures that I don't have to take are easy, especially for you - I shake too much for good ones.

Pricing will be released in a couple of days along with the size choices. Basic pricing will be for 23.25" x 23.25" units.  The ones that are in the pictures are the 46.5" x 23.25" versions.  They are available in raw 2.2lb density EPS (white) as well as painted and sealed/painted versions.  Prices start at about $45.00 per matched (cut) pair.

Bases in the pictures were just 1/2" thick MDF.  Pricing does not include bases.  Our thoughts are to keep the pricing as low as possible and shipping 12" X 24" x 1/2" MDF defeats that premise.

Hang in there, Dan.  We'll get the pricing out ASAP.   :D

Dave

Well, here it is:

The ABB1 diffusers in the 2 x 2 (nominal) size are priced as follows:

2 x 2 - Raw/unpainted                       $40.00 / matched cut pair

2 x 2 - Painted/2 coats                      $75.00 / matched cut pair

2 x 2 - 2 coat sealer w/ 2 coats paint  $150.00 / matched cut pair

2 x 4 nominal sizing is twice the prices above

Standard Colors Behr Paint in eggshell:

Linen White 1870
Dried Chervil ICC-105
Library Red ICC-82
Traditional Leather ICC-81
Pure Black
Pure White

Shipping will be done by FedEx ground.

In other words, everything is pretty much the way it has always been with the pricing as established.  It has taken a long (long, long, long) time to get a consistent foam supplier.  Our fabricater does good work IF he can get good material.  He has finally found a source.

We will do other colors from the Behr Paint color chart.

Please address your orders via PM to ADD (aka Igor - Greg Rael)  Fabrication and paint time is "about" 5 days depending upon our fabricator's workload...

Let the questions fly.

Dave

What I'd like to see are some pictures of the (waiting to dry) painted diffuser from ADD,,, you got all weekend.    No biggie, but it would be cool to see.  :D

Cheers,
Robin

Here is a link to the info posted here:  http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=87517.msg865294#msg865294

Hit me with what info you woiuld like to have and I'll try to get Igor to shoot some closeups of the panels.

Now that's what I'm talking about.  :thumb:  I'm sure no one will be wondering what these diffusers look like anymore. I especially like the thicknness angle of that last picture, it really highlights the diffusion along with the composition density of the hard foam. I sure which I had some room on my walls for yet another form of room treatment.  :duh:  My walls & ceiling are pretty much all booked up.

That eggshell really pops, I see happy customers in your future ADD.

Cheerrs,
Robin

Yeah, BABY!!!  Good job, Gregster.  See, you are too modest about your picture taking abilities as in other things.

These ROCK.   :thumb:

Thank you Charles, Robin, but the person who should get all the credit is the Professor(Dave).I am so privileged to help Dave with his DIFFUSERS. I know much more is coming our way in the way of audio stuff.
As Dave has told me "I have ideas I have not even thought of yet"

Is there a paint that is both effective and safe to use on these guys?

Yeah, Scott.  Any waterbased latex paint is safe.  There are many solvent based apints that "can" work, but we don't recommend it.

We picked Home depot Behr paint because of its' wide avaivalbility and its' covering power.

So are you back from Big Bend?

Yep. Dehydrated, sleep deprived, chapped, and glad to be sleeping in a bed instead of on the ground.  You don't know how good a hot shower feels until you go without one for 4-5 days.  It was a pretty good trip, finding vertebra, tarsal, and lots of microfossils.

Panels came in . Fragile things they are . Since I planned on using these as portable guys ,I have to come up with a light weight
frame of some sorts to protect them.
