that I sent out with the receptacles are too long. They aren't 7/16" but 1/2". To top it off they are 10/32 NOT 8/32. I just checked my original order and I plainly ordered the wrong thread size and they shipped the wrong length. What a clusterXXXXXXXXXXXXXX!!! I have ordered new ones and will be sending them out when they get here to everyone that has purchased receptacles from me.
My bad
Also, you will notice that the screws you are replacing are difficult to remove from the nut plates. They have jammed threads from the original burred screws. You can get the new ones in by very carefully threading the new ones in after inserting a couple of pieces of wire behind the plates through the wire holes. Me, I disassemble the receptacle and do it that way. I will soon post a thread on how to do so and how to polish the contacts internally for lower noise, more efficient power transfer.
Sorry, guys - anybody need 450 cryoed 10/32 x 1/2" binder head screws?
