Well, as a start, Icon + S-1 + W-1 system is awesome! :thumb:
A customer has wrote that Icon and Dali Lektor 1 sounded very good.

Laptop w/ AISO drivers and lossless files + Icon + Audio Technica ATH-A700, sounds fantastic.

iMac on relaxa4(magnetic isolation system)-Dendac(a small USB DAC but very accurate)-belden 88760 Y-cable-Icon(w/ 42W PSU )-bleden 1874A CAT6 cable-S1 on thick apiton wood block is superb! :thumb:
My boy broke both tweaters of Monitor Audio Radius90(they were also good sound),but S1 is very tough :P
You will change LAN cable if you want more air, detail and clarity. It's worth of change.
sorry for my English.

iMac-> Icon (w/ 42W PSU) -> S-1 -> W-1. Sounds amazing!
Also have the Icon Mobile with both the NE-7M and NE-8's, but I only occasionally use those at home. Once I get a new laptop/phone they will be strictly for the road!

Got a replacement board today from Jason, and now I'm a happy Icon listener again :)
Bought myself a new pair of speakers last week, Canadian PSB Alpha B1, and the setup is just fantastic!
Highly recommended.

Right now I am using the Icon connected to my laptop's USB port. It's playing my itunes library over Pinnacle AC 500 bookshelf speakers. Sometimes I plug in my Grado 300i headphones. When I want more power, I have the line out going to a Sonance 260 power amplifier, which feeds another pair of Pinnacle AC 500s.

Icon, S-1 & W-1 all in red color being driven by a stock Mac Mini (new version) pushing out Apple Lossless files. Need to raise the speakers up a bit, but other than that pretty flawless. I've also been using the Icon with both my Senheiser HD-600s and my Grado SR-200s. On opposite ends of the impedance scale but both work pretty well. I've also tried the Nuforce UF-30s, but they really don't stand up to the more expensive sets of headphones so I might sell those.

shifted to high-end setup.

Maybe one of the very first uDACs in Sweden? I know there are one more, cause i orderd two. :). Enjoy!

I'll second the PSB Alpha B1s as an excellent choice of a small bookshelf speaker setup for the Icon! Haven't had any noise issues with these speakers after 10+ hours of listening.

NuForce icon desk, :D :D SuperPro USB DAC + playstation 3 iomega pro hd + klipsch f1. great sound! :D :D :eyebrows:

I'm using an Icon in my computer system for gaming/multi-media. Input is from my sound card, speakers are Energy 'RC-Mini's with a Martin Logan Dynamo being run from the sub out on the Icon.
Sound is fantastic.

I've got the Icon + S1 setup, and I added a tiny sub I had left over from an old 2.1 set, just set at low volume for a little extra bass reinforcement. These S1's do really need it, to my ears, but in a small room they don't need much and you can get away with something really cheap without compromising the sound as a whole. Also, they are extremely placement sensitive. It took me about a week or two to get the whole thing really dialed in. Sounds jaw-droppingly good now, though. :D

Icon + S-1 with upgraded power supply, M&K VX-7 subwoofer, driven via USB DAC in the Icon from Windows PC, both vbr AAC files ripped from CD in iTunes, and with Pandora One subscription. Sounds great!
Occasionally, I'll use the headphone port with Sennheiser HD600 cans.

Hi everyone,
I use a Mac mini to serve my music files + the Nuforce HDP but in my Midi the HDP is not being recognized, & therefore I am limited to 44 hz.
Any ideas? Does the HDP have any drivers?
Thanks...

Here's my all Nuforce setup. A 2010 Mac Mini with 27" Cinema Display is the music source. I spend hours a day working at this desk and I can listen without fatigue. I have an Icon HDP feeding NHT M00's at my work computer.

Gidday. This was my setup until recently. I'm showing off the setting more than the system because I loved how it fitted in while sounding fantastic 8)
Original Icon with upgraded PSU and S-1 speakers. A Wharfedale subwoofer is hidden away out of view. Mac Mini providing tunes.
Am currently considering upgrading to some form of Nuforce DAC driving Quad 12L active speakers.
