I am selling them for $7000/pair in mint condition.

$7000/pair in mint condition with latest updates.  To see a picture of the speaker plus description/ specifications, go to evokespeakers.com, click on news and go to This Is Where It All Began.  Speaker is currently available only on a custom basis for a lot more than what I am asking.  Pickup only in Los Angeles.

So you want the potential customer to do the leg work?

Smart..........

Interesting sales approach.  A product becomes "unobtainium" and you ask more than double the original retail price ($2995).  No pics so we don't know if yours is the first version or the second (other than "latest updates" and telling people to go to the mfr website to look at a pic of V1).  No mention of where it's shipping from.  No payment info.

GLWS, I think you need it.

Any one interested in a pair of Eddies there is a pair of the first version on Audiogon for $2K.

Perhaps the seller was told by a significant other, a banker, or a judge that the speakers must be sold against his will.  So while enjoying the speakers he created the above ad to abide by the order.  I say it’s a brilliant approach.  :thumb:

Never mind, I don’t think there’s anything brilliant going on based on this sales approach.

To add insult to injury ,The Evoke website is kind of a mess, design wise.  Tons of  text to build up the brand concept.  and plenty of super close up shots of materials and drivers, (yeah yeah, "BeSpoke")

EDIT:  finally found the Eddie LE blurb under "NEWS"
