In the pictures I’ve included below you’ll notice one side of my CDP stand is blue, while the other is yellow. When I’m in buoyant spirits, I listen with the yellow side exposed. Colour of the sun, right? When I’m listening to something introspective, I listen with the blue side exposed. Mood enhancer deluxe, at no real cost.
The stand is a 3/4” plywood base covered with a thin cork sheet; on top of that is a piece of red plastic voting sign that acts as an air gap, and finally another thin piece of cork. It’s dah bomb!
