Hi,

Been a long time lurker, thought to register about a year ago, and now finally posting!

Wouldn't call myself an audiophile or close to it by any means. Still trying to find audio nirvana swapping out pieces and trying out new things. Been recently into headphones as an escape from the real world and to relax.

Headphones makes sense if you don't have a decent room (not small, not square, acoustically isolated, treatable, dedicated enough to allow proper setup and listen as/when you want).  Most in-room audiophiles way over gear their listening spaces in an effort to be trophy hunters.
