Adam wanted bamboo SongTowers, but really wanted a darker shade. We talked about dying regular bamboo, but he saw some "Havana" bamboo that seemed to be just the ticket. So we ordered some.
There turned out to be a problem. Normally, we are able to get two sets of panels out of a single 4' x 8' sheet. But this particular bamboo only came in 72" lengths. So we had to purchase two sheets in order to build a pair. That virtually doubled the cost of the bamboo for this project. Oh well, sometimes you just have to pay a little extra to get what you really want.
