Have been keeping an eye on the Monoprice Monolith HTP-1 and the Emotiva models.

They seem amazing but an AVM-60 would probably fit my needs just as well.

If anyone is looking to sell definitely let me know!

Or if you have a similar pre-pro (Marantz, etc) I'm all ears.

Don't know about other pre-pro's but I have an Anthem AVM60 and the sound is excellent, ARC Genesis room correction is really, really good and the correction curves are easy to tweak. I have a medium sized room and no need for 16 channels, 7.1.4 is plenty for me.
