Zu Audio Essence vs Naim Ariva
« on: 26 Nov 2010, 04:33 pm »
I currently have a Virtue Sensation M901 with the Piano M1.  I would like to add floor standing speakers for a narrow room (12 x 32)  I am currently looking at a used pair of Naim Arivas or brand new black Friday sale Zu Audio Essence speakers.

I can hear the Arivas at a local dealer, but never have heard the Essence.  My musical tastes vary from blues, rock, reggae, jazz, folk and more.

Anyone hear both speakers and have a preference?

Thanks,

Nigel

The Superflys were very forward.  Many of us gravitated toward the sound - very different, very clear.  Others preferred putting a mush tube in the middle to take off the edge.  My remarks in the thread above.
