Raw Signal Inputs - Capacitors can be desoldered and removed without removing wind tunnel.
Raw Inputs - Remove C420/425 by desoldering from bottom of main board. Yellow indicates input solder point to retain servo connections. Red indicates traces to pins 5 & 6 on Tripath chip.
Under the wind tunnel layout illustrating C425/420 and input resistors. Purple-ish blue lines indicate bottom of board trace jumpers. Circles by jumpers are "vias" that conduct through the mainboard to the bottom of the board.
Actual capacitors to be removed to allow direct connection.
DC servo components located in my favorite spot under the wind tunnel! R431/432 1.0M ohm input resistors not shown (Ch1/2 respectively). Op amp is a TL072 (light green). Caps are orange and resistors are light purple.
Acutal location photo of U403/404 of servo.
/- 15 volt regulators (U103 left, U102 center)
5 Volt Regulator (U104)
Blue indicates signal ground, red indicates analog ground, yellow indicates grounding screw to chassis, and green indicates 5 volts supply.
