Hello Everyone, my 3B SST will not turn on ... I was using my stereo last night for an hour or so with no problem ... today there are no lights and I have tried turning the unit off for 10 min although, it did not power up again ... any thoughts???

Hi,

Check the circuit breaker on the back has not disengaged.
Check the 12 volt trigger switch on the back is in the LOCAL position

Hello James, thank you for the quick reply it is greatly appreciated ... I double checked and both switches are in the correct position ... any other ideas?  Or should this go into service ... I live in Brampton, Ontario.

Only other thing I can think of is bad power cord.

Loose power cord ?

Have you tried using the 12V trigger to see if it powers up this way?  If so this would isolate the problem to the membrane power switch on the front.

With jethro, fuse in amp has blown for some reason maybe.

Actually I was referring to the fuse/breaker box for the wall plug.

Hey there, yes I did check that as well ... I sent an email to Bryston service for some direction ... my stack of new cd's will have to wait for now
