AVA is pleased to announce a significant number of new product upgrades, all shipping right now. Form, features, and functions remain the same but musical performance is enhanced more than you could ever imagine. When you hear the new products, you will be amazed and pleased. They are as follows:
"R" series Transcendence preamplifiers and DAC: All Transcendence preamps (Transcendence Seven SLR and ECR, Transcendence Six SLR, and Transcendence Five SLR) and the Transcendence R-DAC are now shipping with new wide band, low impedance, multi-stage high voltage power supplies with separate regulators for each section of each circuit. Essentially dual mono performance back to the power transformer. The music improvements are just jaw dropping! A true to life rock solid three dimensional image from wall to wall and beyond.
"R" series Fet Valve amplifiers: The Fet Valve 350EXR and 550EXR amplifiers are now shipping with new wide band, low impedance, multi-stage high voltage power supplies with separate regulators for each section of each audio circuit board. Essentially dual mono performance back to the power transformer. Transparency, range, control, and musical reality are performed like never before.
"EX" series OmegaStar amplifiers: All of our new solid state amplifiers are now shipping with the EX output stage similar to that used in the Fet Valve amplifiers. They have always had regulated audio board power supplies. The performance improvement raises them to a new level of audiophile pleasure.
"R" series OmegaStar preamplifiers and DAC: All new ?megaStar preamplifiers and the OmegaStar DAC are now shipping with a high current toroid power transformer and new regulated power supplies. Again, a beautiful enhancement in musical performance.
THERE WILL BE NO INCREASES IN PRICE FOR MOST NEW PRODUCTS FOR THE NEXT 90 DAYS! (The Transcendence Five SLR vacuum tube preamp is $699, the phono option is $149: the Transcendence Six SLR hybrid preamp is $799, the phone option is $199). Kit versions of the T5 and T6 SLR preamps will be announced as soon as new kit manuals can be prepared.

If you purchased your new AVA equipment within the past 60 days (shipped since August 20, 2003) then the upgrades are free of charge --- except for shipping costs! If you previously purchased the power transformer upgrade to a Transcendence product, you may deduct that price from the upgrade cost.
Upgrade Prices:
Transcendence Seven SLR or ECR upgrade: $350 without phono, $500 with phono.
Transcendence Five or Six SLR upgrade: $250 without phono, $400 with phono.
Fet Valve 350 or 550 EXR upgrade: $350 for current Fet Valve 350Ex or 550Ex models, $850 for Fet Valve 350Hc or 550Hc models.
OmegaStar EX amplifier upgrade: $500 for OmegaStar amplifiers, $800 for older Omega series or Mos-Fet series amplifiers.
OmegaStar "R" preamp upgrade: $300 for OmegaStar preamps or DAC, $500 for older Omega series preamps.
All prices are plus shipping costs. All upgrades include a new three year parts and labor warranty.
