SoundScape 7's - SOLD
« on: 24 Oct 2013, 05:58 pm »
Mike decided to sell his SoundScape 7 floor-standers.  These were originally prototypes that Mike purchased.

Here are some pictures...

And a close-up...

These are satin black cabinets with Mexican cocobolo front baffles.

They are currently located in the New Orleans area.  Mike would like $3700 for them, plus shipping if required...quite a deal.

Contact Mike directly at 504-415-8787 or email him at maasen at cmaaccess.com.

As I recall, they are 40" tall, 9" wide and about 14 - 15" deep.

Hmmm... That would probably work for me with those numbers and move my VST's to surrounds.  Ugh!!!  I just don't have the $$$ this close to Xmas. :(

Yeah Jim is pretty much on the money.   40 1/2'' H with spikes  9 " wide  14 1/2 " Deep with grilles.  These speakers are made very well with alot of internal bracing.

Thanks Jim for your quick post

Hey Mike, if I'm not mistaken, your Veracity STs will play lower than the SS 7...but if you have subs, it may not matter.

Ace-

You are correct.  They would be used in conjunction with my JTR Cap S1's and I'd move the VST's to do surround duties.... Still thinking...

They are rear ported.

There are 2 rear ports in the back and the top back of the speaker can be opened or closed like the SS8'S depending on your preference.

Thanks Michael

 The speakers sold today.

Thanks again Mr. Salk for all your help.  A great company to do business with.

Now I have the fun task of boxing them up,

Nothing right now. I have some monitor audio GS 20's  and the first version of the svs mts-01's in the house.

If I was to upgrade,  the SS8's would be a the top of the list.

Thanks

Mike (aasen7) went way above and beyond to make shipping these happen, including documenting/photographing packing in case there was an issue (which there was not).

Thanks Mike!
