Kismet Mono Bias Instructions
« on: 11 Dec 2021, 05:17 am »
Hello, my Kismets have become super bright in the last year or so. Does anyone have a current and complete set of biasing instructions? From searching the site, everything seems to be a bit dated and in pieces. Maybe they're the same still?  Thanks!!

https://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?action=search2 This is the latest I can find. It's how I do it. 24mv seems to be the sweet spot in my system.

Thanks. I was able to piece together the correct way based on several threads. Now just trying to figure out the best setting for my Sopra 2. And unfortunately the bias seems to swing by as much as 4-5 mv at different times during the day (assuming because of line voltage).

Yah, it can. You can drive yourself crazy!  Best to set it by ear, then forget about it! With my Audio Physic Virgos, I left it at 25-26mv. Bit warm for some, sounds right to moi.

Dog, that link comes up empty. Would you kindly tell me the exact title of the post so I can search for it?

Thanks in advance.
