Let me know if this link does not work yet, my buddy, who took the photos, is hosting them.

http://alhull.com/room7/index.htm

I have a Dodd battery pre on order to replace the Cary in early January.  I just love this room because the sound is to die for!!

Quick equipment rundown:

Cary SLP98P
Cary 303/300 Tube/Digital CD
Audiophile APS 1050 conditioner
Moscode 401HR
HT3's of course!
Analysis Plus Big Silver Ovals
Electra IC's
Bodgan PC
PS Audio Statement and Plus PC's
VH Audio Cryo'd Romex
Cryo'd hospital grade outlets
Signal Cable risers
Auralex acoustical foams
Homemade rack of black walnut slabs and formica
Double drywall, green glue, hat channel construction, double exterior entrance doors

I hope you get a chance to try it out some time!

Wow!  What a gorgeous room/rig!  Very nicely put together, with as much effort spent on aethetics as sonics.  Very cool. 8)

Nice room!!

Oh I notice that the Moscode seems to "just" fit into the rack, there's hardly any space on both sides of the amp, does the amp gets over-heated?

Big Red,

Fantastic. One of these days I'm going to try that amp out. Super nice room! I love it.
And the speakers are spectacular.

Why wasn't I born rich instead of handsome?

Yeah, the Moscode is beautiful.  Much better looking than it seems in the static pics where it's turned off.

No issues.  As you may know, the faceplate is wider than the case.  There's about 2" on either side and of course with the back and top wide open, it really does not get very warm.

I think I'll send the link to George Kaye and tell him his amp is not coming back.

Thanks guys.  I am very happy with my room.  My wife gets the credit for color choices.  I can build it, but I need her to make it look like something.

I'll pile on a little, here's my theater also:

I have seen both rooms - definitely first class all the way! I will hire Pete when I get around to doing my listening room.

Beautiful setup!  Where did you get the plaster peices, those heads by the ceiling?  That's among the nicest looking installs I've ever seen.

Rob, bought them as is from Materials Unlimited in Ypsilanti but they can be found unfinished online for twice the price.  I paid $55 each and there is a website that had them for $100 recently.

We always look for an inspiration piece when we start a project and the heads were the inspiration for the decor.  The wainsotting in the HT is actually cork flooring.  Real tin ceiling in the back half.  Dead front, live rear is what I went with versus the typical boring "all dead" batting over Knauf, fabric covered, walls all around.  For us the room had to have visual interest as well as acoustics.  The lights aren't always dimmed!!

Red - What do you think of your Audoiphile APS?  I have one on order and expect it soon.  (I had one briefly a year ago or more but sent it back, the reason being  too convoluted to explain.)  I have high hopes of it solving my severely grungy electricity problem.
