I have the SAS 11A and the Monarchy SE-250 Monos. Bot use 6922 type tubes (I am currently running 7308=E188CC in all of them). Which dampers would y'all recommend?

Personally, I like the Peek Halo-9s and as luck has it: they're on sale for $12.49 each.  :thumb:

Hi, Eric. All of Herbie's Vacuum Tube Damping Instruments work very well with 6922-type tubes. Although differences between them are subtle, descriptions on our website are straightforward, to help differentiate.

To bring out the best potential of your gear, I recommend Preamp UltraSonic or UltraSonic Rx. Preamp UltraSonic will unmask lots of intricate detail, while Rx adds a highly resolving yet slightly more "organic" result. You wouldn't go wrong with either.

A combination might yield ideal results for you: UltraSonics in the preamp, Rx at the monos (or PEEK at the monos if you'd like to bring out a little more "heft" in the mids/lower-mids.)

Just placed my order. Also ordered some for my Modwright 3910 (6900 dupes and the rectifier tube in the PS)
