Very nice wood bodied high output MC cartridge. Extended up top with plenty of air, yet naturally detailed. Slightly full in mids and lows make for a warmish presentation. Not edgy or aggressive. A cartridge for music lovers. Highish output means it works fine into a MM section -- no step up needed.
I bought this cartridge new in 2002 or thereabouts. It has been in rotation with two other cartridges, so I estimate about 700-900 hrs of use. Plenty of exquisite music making hrs left in this baby!
It has been used carefully in high-end setups only: Townshend table with SME and Kuzma arms. It has played only Nitty Gritty cleaned records, and was periodically cleaned with Needle Nectar stylus cleaner. Just recently demagnetized, so it's all ready to go. Used in a pet, child and smoke free home.
It plays and tracks beautifully. I have carefully inspected it with my 40X jewelers loupe and it looks great. Cantilever is arrow straight and stylus is in VG condition. Photos are a bit blurry but they confirm cantilever's condition.

Not particularly fussy on the setup. Get it close and it sounds great.
