Mac only has interest in the very hi purchasing power public, millionaires in particular, it will certainly sell the entire production(this product must be made to order).

If I had $50K to spend on the low end, I'd be swarming in bass. I would commission 10 custom-built, 15" dual subs and place them around the room.

For ~$5-10k I would do either two or three Triple Threat Open baffle subs from GR Research.
For ~$15k I would do two D212s subs from Perlisten.

+1. OB subs dont need the expensive enclosures.
-
my first house cost less than that !
FWIW, over the years the few Mac speaker set ups I've heard were not that impressive considering the $$ outlay. Oh well, crazy money for something that is responsible for just a couple octaves of the music spectrum IMO ........

It makes this $32k Magico look cheap :green: https://www.overtureav.com/product/titan-15/

REL calls their stacked array a 6-Pack, almost all their models can be stacked
6 No. 31's will cost $42,000
6 No. 32's with the 15" driver is $60,000
Looks like there is a market for these beasts, just not on this forum

If we're doing triple stacks, I'd much rather have these -

Oh wait, I DO own them :P

Hmm, maybe it's the VU meter with blue lights that jacks up the price. Considering you're going to need at least a pair of them and ideally 4, that's some serious coin. How much are the full rangers they sell to go along with these?

You must have a BIG room! :green:

You must have a BIG room! :green:
Well, if I had $50K to spend on subwoofers, I could afford a bigger room!
At some point, even if you're wealthy, you gotta ask yourself -- "is this a waste of money?"

Only $50K?
How about a YG Acoustics Invincible 21.2 or you could squeak by with a 21.1? They would mate perfectly to a pair of Sonja Ref 3’s.

Wonder how the owners of these pale elephants will re-sell used these $50K hydrants?

I heard their REL stack at RMAF 3 years ago in the Boulder Audio room. It was the best room at the show.

$50K and they can't get their XLR gender correct for the outputs. How in the world did they mess that up?

Hey!
Well, if you're one of those people with money that could easily afford those subs, than that wouldn't be crazy at all!
I remembered telling my coworker who is a non audiophile that I just got a new cart for my turntable that cost $475, at first he thought I meant a whole new turntable. When I told him that is just for the cart, he look at me with a surprised face and then he asked me how much my turntable cost? I told him and he was totally shocked! And my turntable is not crazy expensive like those you see at the audio show reports.
Anyway, talking about price... I do take comfort in the fact that I've heard some expensive systems that don't sound right to me and only a handful that actually sound great and worth the high price tag. Well, to each their own right?
