Hello everyone. We are a new audio business specializing in vacuum tube audio.

While we are very new and only just released our first new product, we expect this to be an exciting new year for us with some additional product releases in the near future.

Some information about us:
- We are an aboriginal business locally owned and operated out of Siksika, Alberta, Canada
- All parts are sourced locally when possible, with almost all coming from within North America
- We design and lovingly hand build all our amplifiers in house and will all be point to point wired for the foreseeable future
- We specialized in SET amplifiers that match well with high efficiency loudspeakers
- We intend to be as active in the community as possible

Greetings Wolf Ear Audio.

I see you have just one product (thus far) - a 1.5 watt tube amplifier.
Would you mind listing current production speakers you have had success with using your amp?

No problem :)
My personal favorites so far have been my Alnico monitors from Omega Loudspeakers and the Max 1 from Unison audio. Anything from Zu Audio is good too, though the Omegas are the most affordable by far.

Welcome! I like your quality over quantity approach (in addition to making it affordable).

Hi (Again) Wolf Ear Audio.
Is it possible to see the back and under the hood picture of your Kitoki amplifier.
Thanks.

By the way, I am a French Canadian from Quebec.

Glad to have a new manufacturer joining us. I live in the "under 10 watt" realm and your product looks great to me.  Thanks for joining.

Welcome to AC, nice to see another Canadian firm around!

Years ago when I ran higher efficiency OB speakers your amp would have been interesting to consider.

I'll see about getting an under the hood picture up later tonight. There is a picture of the back in the product page for the amp.

Sorry I haven't messaged back yet, but I haven't had a working camera (or phone) for a few days now, but I have a new one in the mail and will get those pictures for anyone interested up by the end of the week :)

Before I get all crazy working on something new I want, is there any particular type of product that anyone else would be interested in?
I am nearing completion if my transformer coupled headphone amplifier prototype, and should have a working production unit in the next couple months.
So before I start on anything else I thought I would ask what people are interested in  (an OTL headphone amplifier perhaps? Or maybe something different?)

A preamp with adjustable gain would be useful to many, I think. Most preamps I've seen with this feature are VERY expensive. Any way to do something like that...maybe class A tube based, without being too complex or expensive?

Usually this done with a transformer, which is quite an expensive option.
What if it was a tube rollable preamp using any of these: 12AU7, 12AT7 or 12AX7 (your choice) for different amounts of gain?
Or would something that uses a volume pot and a high-medium-low gain switch be more to your liking? Or something else entirely?
