Interesting and timely, as I have been wanting to get back to vinyl without breaking the bank. I've been looking at all the usual suspects, the entry level models from Rega, Project, Sota, etc. This baby might be the real deal if it does come in at the $1K level.

Back in 2004

I'm introducing a new turntable using my Well Tempered principles and the name of this model is the Well Tempered Amadeus. And it's going to be a package with the table, the arm, a Grado cartridge and a phono stage for under $1,000.

from what I hear the Simplex will be coming...sometime...although I'd set the price tag a little higher....
