Just got one of these in. Sounds great with most of my headphones but has what I think is tube noise audible with my most sensitive and revealing headphones. I’ve ordered some matched high gain /low noise and micro phonics NOS Mullard 12AT7s and matched super low noise NOS RCA 12BH7As to replace the stock tubes. I’m hoping this eliminates the noise issue oth my favorite headphones.
Anybody have any experience with this amp and different tubes?
