Everyone:

If you have not heard the Extremis yet, and are in the market for a bookshelf, you'd be in for a treat ordering this speaker.

-Very- close to full-range bandwidth from a 2-way bookshelf is pretty awesome to hear. Also, the Extremis driver is fast, fast, and fast. Very coherent and musical.

how would these work as a rear channel for a 5.1 with RA8s as the mains?

For surrounds this will need to ba aaway from a wall by at least 12" as they will bass load a room really heavy if placed to close to the walls.

Other than that not to bad for surrounds if positioned correctly in a proper room.

And for the price of them and only 20 kits left they will be gone soon.
